About North Okanagan Child Care Society

Since 1994 we have been providing high-quality care, education, and recreational programming for children aged 9 months to 12 years. We weave concepts of literacy and numeracy into play, and into natural, teachable moments throughout the day. Your child will develop their self-help skills, learn emotional literacy, and establish healthy life-long habits. We give children the freedom and confidence to learn about themselves and the community in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

While your child is busy with the important work of play, our educators observe their lines of inquiry, and the curriculum emerges. Our work is to provide resources, extend lines of inquiry, and present experiences to support your child’s further understanding of the world they live.
